Nando Reis and Gilson Peranzzetta started working together in the late 1990s in São Paulo. Their first album came out in 2001, simply called "Nando e Gilson." That record included "Louco Eterno Amor," a song that became widely known in Brazil.
They stopped performing as a duo in 2006. Both musicians continued with their own projects separately after that. In 2016, they played some concerts together again.
