Nando Kin formed in the late 2000s, a band led by vocalist and songwriter Nando with Brian on guitar, Sam on bass, and James on drums. Their debut album was called "Can You Feel Me," which gave them an early push. They worked in a collaborative way, with Nando's lyrics providing a starting point and the band building arrangements around them.
They put out a few more records after that, including albums titled "Asymmetrical" and "The Ritual." Their sound mixed alternative rock with some electronic touches, and songs like "Sexy Love" showed their knack for moody, melodic writing. They ran into some legal trouble over samples at one point, and Nando's personal struggles became part of the conversation around the band.
For a while there, they had a following in the alternative scene. The band hasn't been active in recent years, but those early albums still turn up in playlists now and then.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
