A Kyoto trio known for anime themes and energetic live shows in Japan.
For a good sense of their style, try 'Kodama Kotodama' or 'Snow Drop'. They're both melodic with those electronic touches.
They've been doing this since 2004, and you can hear their mix of rock and electronic sounds in songs like 'Moratorium' and 'Ad Balloon'. Their opening theme 'Azalea' for the series Citrus shows how their music fits with anime. It's melodic rock with Kimiko's clear vocals over it, and they've built a catalog that includes eight studio albums.
They formed in Kyoto in 2004 with Kimiko on vocals and guitar, Takumi on bass, and Kazuyuki on drums. In 2016, they faced a copyright lawsuit over the song 'Hanabi', which ended in a settlement. They're still known for those energetic live shows in Japan.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
