Nara Rubia formed in São Paulo around 2010, with Nara Marques and Rubia Moreno at the center. They started playing small venues, working as a female-led band in what they found to be a male-dominated scene.
Their song 'Mova o Céu' came out in 2015 and became a hit in Brazil. They released their first album, 'Tudo o Que Não Te Contei,' the following year. Later records like 'Incêndio' and 'Aurora' moved into rock and electronic sounds.
Marques handles vocals and guitar, while Moreno plays drums and percussion. Another track of theirs is 'Voz de Um Adorador.'
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
