Necrosadist formed in Nicosia in 1997, with Voreas as their frontman. They built a following in the underground metal scene with a raw black metal sound. Their setlists often included covers like 'Black Metal (Venom Cover)' and 'Call from the Grave (Bathory Cover).' The band's debut album was 'The Call of the Dark,' followed by releases such as 'Diabolical Blasphemy' and 'Devourer of Souls.'
In 2005, Necrosadist had a show in Athens stopped by police over accusations of blasphemy. Voreas and other members were detained, though charges were later dropped. The lineup has included guitarist Lord Mordath, bassist Magus Xul, and drummer Arioch alongside Voreas.
