Their music sometimes mixed Brazilian rhythms with pop and electronic elements. This approach drew some criticism from traditionalists but also found an audience. Their lyrics occasionally addressed social and political topics.
In 2005 they put out a live album called Acústico. The band's name translates to "without borders," which reflected their interest in blending different musical styles.
