Background notes

Archive material and source history

N.EMO formed in Brazil around 2010, with Felipe Castro on vocals and guitar, Gabriel Mendes on bass, Pedro Campos on drums, and Lucas Silveira on keyboards. They put out their first album in 2014, simply called "N.EMO," and followed it with "Aonde Você Vai?" in 2017.

A song called "Sonhando Encontrar" came out in 2013 and got some attention. Other tracks in their catalog include "Capítulo 1," "Será Que Isso Vai Continuar?," and the long-titled "A Insônia Invadiu a Minha Porta e Não Quer Mais Sair do Meu Quarto."

In 2016, there was some criticism about the band playing a show sponsored by a company with environmental issues. They apologized and said they supported environmental protection.
