Nesh formed in 1999 with Rodrigo Hoshino on vocals and guitar, Thiago Bianchi on lead guitar, Felipe Machado on bass, and Bruno Valverde on drums. They started playing a mix of hard rock and metal, eventually releasing albums like 'A Força do Destino' in 2005 and 'Infinito' in 2008.
Their 2002 album 'Arte da Guerra' drew some attention for its lyrics and anti-war themes, but it also found an audience. Songs like 'Flowxetina' and 'Primeiro' show their melodic side, while 'La Casa de Papel' features Thalia Abdon.
They've played shows across Brazil, Europe, and South America, and picked up a few Rock in Rio awards along the way. The band's catalog includes a 2011 compilation called 'Grandes Sucessos'.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
