Nesli

Nesli is the stage name of Francesco Tarducci, an Italian singer-songwriter who started writing songs as a teenager. His music draws from hip-hop, soul, and rock, and he broke through in 2003 with the single "Come Odiarmi." He works solo but brings in other musicians and producers.

His 2009 song "Andrà Tutto Bene" became a kind of anthem for getting through hard times. Other tracks like "Io E Te" and "Quello Che Non Sei" show his style of direct, personal writing. In 2016, he talked publicly about living with bipolar disorder, which made some of his fans feel closer to his music.

Nesli has put out eight studio albums, including "Ego" from 2004, "Vengo in Pace" from 2015, and "Kill Karma" from 2018. His lyrics sometimes stir up debate, in 2008, his song "Il Mio Domani" was kept off the radio for its political content. He keeps writing in his own voice, without smoothing out the edges.
