Nessbeal

Nessbeal started rapping in the late 1990s in Vitry-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris. He built his skills through street performances and underground battles, working with limited resources and little local support. His early material often addressed inequality, poverty, and police brutality, which sometimes put him at odds with authorities. In 2006, he received a four-month prison sentence for inciting racial hatred in a song.

He has released over a dozen studio albums, including 'La mélancolie des anges' in 2006 and 'Les princes de la ville' in 2010. His work has featured collaborations with Booba, Rohff, and La Fouine. Among his most recognized tracks is '10 000 Questions,' a 2006 ballad about love and loss that connected with listeners across France.

Nessbeal's style draws from American hip-hop figures like Tupac Shakur and Nas, as well as French rap acts such as IAM and Oxmo Puccino. His delivery tends to be introspective and soulful, anchored in the realities of his suburban origins rather than flashy production or commercial formulas.
