Netzer formed in São Paulo in the early 1990s with Adriane Galisteu on vocals, Ciro Pessoa on guitar, André Prando on bass, and Fernando Schaefer on drums. Their debut album 'Veneno' came out in 1994, and they followed it with 'Fundo do Poço' two years later. The title track from that second album became one of their most recognizable songs.
Galisteu left the band in 1999 to focus on acting, and Fabiana Passoni took over as vocalist. Pessoa, Prando, and Schaefer stayed with the group through subsequent albums like 'A Última Missa' in 1998 and 'Sistema' in 2004. Their music often dealt with heavy themes, and another track, 'Me Encontrei,' appears among their top songs.
They released six studio albums between 1994 and 2010, including 'In Memoriam' in 2001 and 'Plague' in 2010. The band's work from São Paulo in the 1990s and early 2000s found an audience in Brazil with its straightforward rock approach.
