Neuras Planetóides formed in São Paulo in 2003. They've put out several albums, including their self-titled debut in 2005, followed by 'O Mundo Dá Voltas' in 2008, '9 Lunas' in 2012, and 'Fora da Realidade' in 2015.
Their song 'Fazendo Sucesso' became a viral hit, though it drew some criticism for what some saw as a materialistic take on the music industry. The band defended it as satire. Other tracks like 'Setor Comercial' and 'O Pai do Morro' are among their more popular work.
The group includes vocalist and guitarist Fernanda Takai, bassist Fabio Brasil, drummer Thiago Gregório, and guitarist Felipe Pacheco. Their sound pulls from punk, alternative rock, and Brazilian MPB, with Takai's vocals and Pacheco's guitar work being particular standouts.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
