Follow the Phoenix

Looking back on all the time that faded away.

I find I'm wishing that I could retrieve the days,

spending the remainder of my time forgetting what has too soon been lost.

Is this all that I'm becoming,

a simple shadow adorning a crown of kings.

We choose to rest upon a throne of lies.

Memories come and go,

I find I'm haunted in the deepest of nights.

So follow the phoenix

I've never been much of a believer
