Editor's note

New Found Glory's pop-punk stayed loud and loyal

A Florida band that kept the Warped Tour spirit alive through lineup shifts and label fights.

If you want the classic sound, 'My Friends Over You' is the one. For something later, check out 'Radiosurgery'.

They wrote songs that became staples for a generation of pop-punk fans. 'My Friends Over You' is the kind of track that still gets shouted back at shows. Even when they tangled with Drive-Thru Records over royalties and creative control, they kept putting out records like 'Radiosurgery' in 2011.

They formed in Coral Springs, Florida in 1997 and released their debut 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' in 2000. The original lineup with Jordan Pundik on vocals held through albums like 'Sticks and Stones' and 'Coming Home', though Kevin Lyman from the Vans Warped Tour joined as rhythm guitarist in 2009.
