A Los Angeles quartet that found its footing with 'Zero Summer' in 2003.
For a quick sense of them, 'Peaches' from that first album still holds up. And 'Gonna Love You' with Jennifer Chung shows where they landed later.
They were one of those early 2000s LA bands that actually got a proper album out, 'Zero Summer,' and the single 'Peaches' gave them a real foothold. Their catalog has some solid songs that still turn up, like 'Bleeding Love' and 'Gonna Love You' with Jennifer Chung. They kept going after Alex Band left in 2007, with Justin York stepping up to sing on 'Reverse the Course of Time.'
They formed in Los Angeles in the early 2000s with Alex Band on vocals, Justin York on guitar, Chris Allen on bass, and Brian Pickard on drums. Their debut 'Zero Summer' came out in 2003, and after Band left in 2007, York took over vocals for their second album 'Reverse the Course of Time' the following year.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
