A Brazilian hip-hop group that built an audience with straightforward lyrics and local funk rhythms.
For a sense of their sound, check out 'Real Trap' or 'Vivência' with Sidoka. They're both pretty representative of what the group does.
FLACKO's early track 'Real Trap' gave the group its first real attention in São Paulo's scene. The lyrics tended to be direct, which sometimes drew criticism but also built them a steady audience in Brazil's hip-hop scene.
FLACKO formed in São Paulo around 2017 as a trio with NGC Borges, Meno Toddy, and MC Flacko. They put out a debut album called 'Trap de Verdade' in 2018, followed by 'Vivendo no Corre' in 2019 and 'Flacko Sem Censura' in 2020. Borges handled most of the writing, Toddy produced the beats, and Flacko was the main voice.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
