NieA 7 formed in 2019 when Kazuki Satou gathered seven vocalists from an open call. The group includes Kazuki, Mizuki, Haruki, Yuu, Syougo, Junya, and Koudai. They faced some early skepticism about having seven members, which was unusual for Japanese pop groups at the time.
Their debut single 'Gokigen Na Yatsu Ga Suki' came out in 2021 and found an audience. They followed it with other singles and released their first album 'Harmonia' in 2022. Another song, 'Viinasu To Chiisana Kamisama,' appears in their catalog.
In 2023, plagiarism accusations surfaced about one of their songs. The group denied it, and after an investigation, the claims were dismissed. The incident didn't stop their activity, but it's part of what people remember about them.
