Nihilismo came out of Mexico City in the mid-1990s playing a raw, fast version of grindcore. Their song "Vamos A Cojer" became an underground anthem, and their live shows were known for being intense and provocative. They put out albums like "Nus Ex Vomitatu" in 1996 and "Cataract" in 1998, with the music built around guttural vocals and blistering tempos.
The band's lineup stayed fairly steady with Dani "El Wero" Ramírez on vocals, Osvaldo "El Pecas" Martínez on guitar, Javier "El Chucky" Guzmán on bass, and Jorge "El Tuerto" Zavala on drums. They kept releasing material through the 2000s, including the self-titled "Nihilismo" in 2000 and "Ignis Domus" in 2004. Other songs like "A Quien Le Va a Importar" and "Asi Es Mi Vida" show the same direct, confrontational style.
