Nikone formed in Buenos Aires around 2007, with Nahuel Mutti on vocals and guitar, Julián Baglietto on drums, and Ernesto Salgueiro on bass. They put out their first album, simply called 'Nikone,' that same year. By 2009, they were releasing a second album, 'Todos Contra Todos,' and by 2011, a third called 'Los Extraterrestres.'
In 2012, they released the song 'Armame de Ganas,' which became their most recognizable track. Other songs from their catalog include 'Aviones de Papel,' 'Báilalo,' and 'Antes De Perderme.'
The band's lineup grew to include Mariano Botindari on guitar and Pablo Ponce on keyboards. They've released several more albums since, including 'Renacer' in 2015 and 'Despertar' in 2018.
