Nilson Cds Moral

Nilson CDs Moral was a Brazilian funk band from São Paulo that formed in the late 1990s. The group centered around Nilson on vocals, with Dennis DJ handling turntables and Lelei on percussion. Their sound mixed funk with samba and hip-hop, and they became known for lyrics that were both provocative and socially pointed.

In 1998 they released the single "Bate Com a Bunda no Grave," which became a breakout hit. The song's explicit content and driving beat connected with many young listeners in Brazil, though it also drew criticism from conservative groups. That track remains their most recognized work.

They kept recording through the 2000s, putting out albums like Deixa Eu Te Amar in 2001 and Na Veia in 2004. Over time their music incorporated reggae, rock, and electronic elements, broadening their sound beyond pure funk. The band's output slowed after the late 2000s, with their last album O Último arriving in 2008.
