Nine inFloor formed in Porto Alegre around 2003, when guitarist Júlio Anquier met drummer Felipe Cohen. They later added bassist Fábio Gonçalves and vocalist Thiago Pethit. Their first album, 'Por Dentro,' came out in 2005, followed by 'O Fim da Barbárie' in 2008 and 'Nove' in 2011.
In 2015, the song 'Coisas Bonitas Pra Contar' became widely known. The band has also recorded tracks like 'Existencia Subconsciente' and 'Um Futuro Que Não Deu Certo.' They released albums called 'Dorma Comigo' in 2017 and 'Capitão' in 2020.
