Ninguém Merece! formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s. Their debut album was called 'Por quê?' in 2003, which included the song of the same name. The band's lineup included Luciano Ferreira on vocals, Hélio Delgado on guitar, Samuel Oliveira on bass, and Diego Pereira on drums.
They released three more albums after that: 'Apenas Mais um Cadáver' in 2006, 'Cidade Errada' in 2010, and a self-titled album in 2014. Another track people know is 'Taylor's Song'.
Their lyrics often dealt with social issues, and 'Por quê?' became particularly known for addressing police brutality and government corruption.
