Nino Bravo was born Luis Manuel Ferri Llopis in Valencia, Spain, where he worked as a baker before music took over. He was discovered by producer Augusto Algueró and recorded his first single "Te quiero, te quiero" in 1969 under the name Nino.
His song "Amor Amor" came out the next year and became a huge hit across Spain, Latin America, and Japan. It's the track most people remember him by, though he also recorded others like "El Perfume En Su Piel" and "Fixaçao."
Nino Bravo died in a car accident in 1973 when he was 28. He left behind a few albums, including El álbum de Nino from 1970 and Mi tierra from 1972.
