Archive material and source history
Niti formed in Udine in 1993 as a quartet with Mauro Ottolini on vocals and guitar, Paolo Soave on bass, Andrea Capelletti on drums, and Marco Tiraboschi on keyboards. Their debut album 'Oscillazioni' came out in 1996 and included the song 'Peri e Ceci,' which became a radio staple in Italy.
They released several more albums over the next decade, including 'Senza Ritorno' in 1998, 'Radiografia' in 2000, and 'L'incanto' in 2005. Keyboardist Marco Tiraboschi left the band in 2009, and Niti continued as a trio, putting out 'Niti' in 2010 and 'I Colori del Silenzio' in 2015.
In 2020, they released their eighth studio album 'Equilibrio.' Their catalog also includes songs like 'A Saga de Um Povo, Os Últimos Índios Charruas,' 'Lenda da Erva Mate,' and 'Tupã Criou Seu Filho Nessa Terra.'
