Archive material and source history
No Jardim formed in 2004 as a Brazilian Christian rock band. Their song 'Salmo 23,' a version of Psalm 23, became particularly well-known. They released eight studio albums between 2004 and 2018, including 'Sobre as Águas' in 2006 and 'Deus Ainda Reina' in 2012.
Davi Sacer sang lead and wrote songs for the group. Luiz Arcanjo played lead guitar, Fernandinho handled keyboards and vocals, Pr. Lucas played bass and sang, and Alessandro was the drummer. Their music mixed rock elements with worship themes, which drew some criticism from more traditional parts of the Christian community at the time.
