Noar formed in São Paulo around 2010, with singer Pedro Mariano and guitarist Diego Miranda at the center. They were joined by bassist Juliano Bastos and drummer Davi Moraes. Their debut album, 'A Fênix,' came out in 2014 and gave them a major hit with its title track.
They followed it with records like 'Vento Forte' in 2016 and 'Aurora' in 2019, which showed a shift toward more experimental sounds and personal themes. Another of their well-known songs is 'Só Uma Questão de Gosto.'
They released another album, 'Sempre,' in 2022.
