Nobody Knows formed in 2004 as a Japanese rock band. They're best known for 'Hero's Come Back!', which became a breakout single when it appeared on their self-titled debut album in 2006. The lineup includes Takafumi Matsubara on vocals and guitar, Kazuaki Ishii on bass, and Tetsuro Terao on drums.
After that debut, they put out a series of albums through the late 2000s and early 2010s, including 'Answer' in 2007, 'III' in 2009, 'IV' in 2011, and 'V' in 2013. Other songs like 'Kokoro Odoru' and 'Shiawase nara te wo tatakou' have also been part of their catalog.
In 2012, they released a song called 'Hikari no Hate e' that drew criticism for lyrics some found potentially offensive to people with disabilities. The band has toured in Asia and Europe since then, but much of their recognition has stayed centered in Japan.
