Noémi Virág

Noémi Virág first gained attention as the lead vocalist for the Hungarian band Libido in the mid-2000s. She left the group in 2010 and released her debut solo album 'Intro' the following year.

She grew up in Szentendre, where she was exposed to both classical Hungarian composers like Béla Bartók and contemporary artists such as Björk. This mix of influences shows up in her work, which often features intricate vocal arrangements over folk and pop elements. She has collaborated with musicians across genres, including folk singer Márta Sebestyén and electronic producer Balázs Zságer.

Noémi typically performs with a backing band that includes guitarist Péter Földes, bassist Gergely Szakács, drummer Máté Szalay, and pianist Marcell Bokor. Her later albums include 'Ölelve' in 2014, 'Szabadon' in 2016, 'Élet' in 2018, and 'Lélegzem' from 2022.
