Non Non Biyori formed in 2008, taking their name from an anime series. Their debut single "Nyanpasu Yabure Kabure" caught on quickly, with its upbeat melody and playful lyrics. The original lineup included Riko Azuna on vocals, Rina Satou on guitar and vocals, and Mai Morishita on bass.
After Morishita left in 2011, Azuna and Satou continued as a duo. They kept releasing music, including songs like "Nanairo Biyori" and the Spanish version of "Nyanpasu Yabure Kabure." Their sound stayed in the cheerful pop vein, with lyrics about friendship and everyday joys.
Azuna handled most of the lead vocals and wrote some of their material. Satou played guitar and added harmonies. Their music occasionally appeared in anime soundtracks and commercials.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
