Non Tiq

Non Tiq was an alternative band from Los Angeles led by frontman Evan Falk. Their sound mixed synth-pop, rock, and experimental electronica in a way that didn't fit neatly into categories. In 1989, they released the single "Love Machine," which became their most recognizable track with its pulsing rhythms and Falk's distinctive vocals.

They put out albums like "Shades of Gray" and "The Crimson Hour," which showed their range from anthemic songs to darker, more experimental material. Another track, "Quiet," appeared in their catalog alongside "Love Machine." The band faced some internal tensions and a temporary hiatus in the early 1990s, but they regrouped and continued making music.

Their lineup included Broc Smeal on bass, Peter Walsh on synthesizers, and Chris Willson on drums alongside Falk. Non Tiq's music sometimes drew criticism for explicit lyrics and provocative themes, but they maintained a dedicated following who connected with their unapologetic approach.
