NoN Title formed in Brasília, Brazil in 1999 with Rodrigo Sant'Anna on vocals, Maurício Fonseca on guitar, André Luiz Campos on bass, and Ricardo Bonfim on drums. They spent their early years playing small venues and working on their sound, though their debut album was rejected by multiple labels in 2003.
Their 2007 album '1.000 Milhas de Distância' changed things. The title track became a hit in Brazil and Portugal, and songs like 'Asas de Papel' and 'Elisa' helped build their catalog. The success led to tours and festival appearances.
In 2010, vocalist Rodrigo Sant'Anna was arrested for driving under the influence, which created some public backlash. The band supported him through it and kept working.
