Nona Avenida formed in São Paulo in 2013 with Guilherme Arantes on vocals and guitar, Victor Ferraz on bass, and Lucas Lima on drums. They started playing folk and rock with MPB influences, though early on they had financial trouble and disagreements about their direction.
Their first album, 'Ao Vivo em São Paulo,' came out in 2015. A few years later they put out 'Horizonte,' which moved away from their folk sound toward rock and electronic textures. Songs like 'Algumas Dúvidas' and 'Boas Notícias' became some of their most recognizable work.
The band's lineup information cuts off in the existing bio, so it's unclear who else has played with them or whether the original three are still together.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
