Novastar is a Dutch band that formed in 1998 with Joost van den Broek as the vocalist and guitarist. Their self-titled debut album came out that same year and included the single "Wrong." They followed it with albums like "Moon Lake" in 2002 and "The Third Eye" in 2006.
One of their better-known songs is "Faith," which appears on the "Moon Lake" album. Other tracks in their catalog include "Lost & Blown Away," "Never Back Down," and "Ask For The Moon." In 2018, van den Broek shared that he had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
