From 'Tearin' Up My Heart' to solo careers, the Orlando quintet soundtracked a generation.
If you want to hear what made them click, put on 'Tearin' Up My Heart.' For something quieter, try 'That's When I'll Stop Loving You.'
They weren't just another boy band, 'NSYNC had the songs that stuck. 'Tearin' Up My Heart' became a radio fixture, and their work with Gloria Estefan on 'Music Of My Heart' showed they could handle more than dance-pop. For a few years there, you couldn't escape their harmonies, and that's why they still matter.
They formed in Orlando in 1995 and released their debut album in 1998. Justin Timberlake left in 2002, and the other members moved into television, film, and other music projects.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
