Archive material and source history
O Diário de Tati formed in São Paulo in 2004 around vocalist and guitarist Tatiana "Tati" Leite, with bassist Victor "Vitão" Pradella and drummer João "Jão" Ottoni. Their debut album 'Primeiro Amor' came out in 2006, and its title track became something of an anthem for young listeners in Brazil.
They put out a few more albums after that, including 'Doze Canções,' 'Exército de Um Homem Só,' and 'Agora.' In 2010, the band had some kind of dispute with a record label that led to a temporary break, but they eventually returned to playing.
