O Legado formed in 1991 as a Brazilian band. Their 2003 single "Mais Um Dia Sem Você" brought them wider recognition, with its straightforward melody and lyrics about separation.
Their debut album was called "Dois Corações," and they followed it with "Um Novo Amanhã." The band's lineup has included Anderson Freire on vocals, Julinho Rocha on guitar, and Valdir and Júnior Souza on bass and drums. Their other songs include "Meu Vício É o Som" and "Paraíso de ilusão."
