Archive material and source history
O Oliveira formed in Rio de Janeiro around 2010, with Thiago Oliveira on vocals, Rafael Oliveira on guitar, Pedro Campelo on bass, and Gustavo Oliveira on drums. They started playing small venues, working out their sound. In 2015, their single 'Não Vou Sentir Saudade' got attention and charted in Brazil. That led to their debut album 'Tudo Vai Dar Certo' in 2016.
Their music mixes Brazilian rhythms with pop and folk. Thiago Oliveira writes most of the lyrics, which tend to be personal. They released 'Eu Sei Que Vou Te Amar' in 2018 and 'Tempo' in 2021. Pedro Campelo left in 2019, replaced by André Gabeh on bass.
They've worked with Milton Nascimento and Iron & Wine. Some of their songs, like 'Meio Ambiente,' talk about social issues.
