O2O formed in 2012 as a five-piece Chinese band. Their song 'Luò Xuě Xún Huā' became a hit, with its melody and lyrics catching attention. The group included Luo Pan on vocals, Meng Fei on guitar, Yang Bo on bass, Li Han on drums, and Wang Lei on keyboards.
They released albums like 'Huā' in 2014 and 'Shí Guāng' in 2017, which showed some shifts in their approach. Their sound drew from pop, rock, and electronic elements, though it sometimes met with criticism from listeners who preferred more traditional styles.
By 2020 they put out 'Yī Shí', an album that looked back on their time together. The band's work maintained a following without conforming tightly to industry expectations.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
