Oath To Vanquish formed in London in 2015 as a four-piece metal band. Their first album, The Siege of Delusion, came out in 2017. They followed it with The Shadow of Mortality in 2019, which included the track Dearly Beheaded.
In 2021, guitarist James Whitehall left the group. Adam Blackwood joined as the new guitarist. The band released their third album, The Oath That Binds, in 2023.
