Oceano FM formed in Porto Alegre in 2008 with Eduardo Minami on vocals, Pedro Dutra and Marcelo Amaral on guitars, Eduardo Capello on bass, and Pedro Fogaça on drums. They built a reputation for intense live shows and lyrics that didn't shy away from social and political themes, often with explicit language. Their 2012 album 'A Fantástica Maquina de Fazer Guerra' was a notable release for the band.
Over time, the lineup shifted. Capello left in 2016 and Fogaça in 2018, replaced by Lucas Esteves on bass and Luan Dametto on drums. The band's songs like 'Foda-se' and 'Xadrez tecnologia e microfonia' reflect their aggressive musical approach and confrontational lyrical style. They've continued releasing albums into the 2020s with 'Cinge Et Fide' in 2020.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
