Octavio Norzagaray came from San Juan de Allende in Oaxaca, Mexico. He started writing songs early, and in 1996, his ballad 'Si Me Quisieras' became a hit across Latin America. That song established him as a romantic singer, though some critics thought his style was too traditional compared to newer pop music.
He kept recording for years, putting out more than twenty albums. Some of his other songs include 'El Hada Madrina,' 'Un Amor Para Toda la Vida,' and 'Una Aventura Más.' He worked with musicians like guitarist Jorge González, bassist José Luis Martínez, drummer Eduardo Pérez, and keyboardist Ricardo Hernández.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
