Of Sea and Stone formed in Brighton, England in 2012 around singer-songwriter Ethan Blue. They released a series of EPs starting with 'Whispers of the Sea' in 2014, followed by 'Echoes of Stone' and 'The Vast Unknown.'
Their 2017 album 'I Love You, Goodbye' included the title track that became their most successful single. The band's lineup included Ethan Blue on vocals, guitar and piano, Amelia Rose on bass and backing vocals, Oliver Green on drums and percussion, and Lily Jones on violin.
In 2016, Ethan Blue faced plagiarism accusations that were later dismissed. The band released additional albums including 'Against the Tide' in 2019 and 'Ethereal Echoes' in 2021.
