Off-Mind

Off-Mind came together in São Paulo around the mid-2000s. Their early sound had a raw, energetic quality that drew listeners in, though some critics found their lyrics too confrontational at first. They kept at it, and by 2009 their single 'Cão de Guarda' had become a hit in Brazil.

Their first album, also called 'Cão de Guarda', came out in 2010 and captured that early intensity. Later records like 'Guerreiros da Alma' and 'A Guerra não Acabou' showed them working with elements of thrash, hardcore, and alternative rock. Songs like 'Em Curto' and 'Grito No Vazio' reflect that heavier, more layered sound they developed over time.

The core lineup has stayed mostly the same, with Kiko Turbino on vocals, Rodrigo Santos and Juninho Aguiar on guitars. Turbino's lyrics tend to be incisive, and the guitar work is often blistering. They haven't softened their stance much, and their music still carries that rebellious edge that first got people's attention in São Paulo.
