Olive Amun came together in New York City around the early 2000s. The band had Natalie LaRue on vocals, Michael Dean on guitar, Alex Javor on bass, and Timothy Hardin on drums. They put out their first album, 'Echoes of the Heart,' in 2004.

Their second album, 'Beyond the Veil,' arrived in 2007 and included the song 'Crazy For Your Love.' They released two more albums, 'Ashes to Embers' in 2010 and 'The Phoenix' in 2013. The band stopped working together in 2015.
