Olive B was a British electronic duo made up of vocalist Louise Rhodes and producer Tim Keegan. They released one album, 'Extra Virgin,' in 1997. The track 'Playmate' from that record became their most recognizable song, with Rhodes' distinctive vocals floating over Keegan's atmospheric production.
Rhodes reportedly dealt with stage fright during the band's active years, which made live performances difficult. The duo was sometimes associated with the trip-hop scene that was happening in Britain at the time.
After Olive B ended around 2000, Rhodes went on to release solo material. Keegan kept working as a producer for other artists.
