Only formed in Oslo in 2001 with Andreas P. Unge, Kim Ofstad, Johannes Torkelsen, and Frode Unneland. Their debut album 'Only' came out in 2003 and included the single 'Dollar,' which became a hit in Norway and elsewhere. They followed it with albums like 'One Love' in 2006 and 'No Secrets' in 2009.
Frode Unneland left the band in 2009, and they took a break before returning with bassist Geir Sundstøl. In 2012, there was a dispute about similarities between 'Dollar' and a Serbian artist's song, which was settled out of court. Their later work includes the compilation 'The Best of Only' from 2015 and the album 'Restart' from 2018.
Their songs include 'Estoy Hasta los Huevos,' 'Superbien,' 'Fogo Vivo,' 'Cartier,' 'Rihanna,' 'Aborto,' and 'Baião de Dois.'
