Onze e Dez

Onze e Dez formed in Salvador, Bahia in 2015 around vocalist and guitarist Bruno Magnata and bassist Roberto Barreto. Their breakout came the following year with the single "Ansiedade," which connected with listeners through its direct approach to anxiety. The song's straightforward melody and lyrics about emotional weight found an audience in Brazil.

In 2017 they released the EP "Onde Mora a Saudade," which continued in a similar introspective vein. The title track faced plagiarism accusations that the band denied. The next year brought their debut album "Manual de Sobrevivência," which incorporated elements of indie rock and bossa nova while addressing topics like mental health. Other songs from this period include "Desde que te vi" and "Nunca Mais."

Their music tends to stay close to personal themes without much ornamentation. The band's sound developed from those early recordings into something a bit more varied, but still anchored in the plainspoken style that first caught attention with "Ansiedade."
