oOoOO is the electronic project of Christopher Dexter Greenspan, who started putting music online around 2007. The name itself is a bit of an internet artifact, and the early work had that quality too, ethereal, glitchy tracks that felt like they were made in a bedroom but could fill a room. An early song like "Without Your Love" shows what caught people's attention: a hazy blend of ambient textures and something you could almost call pop, if pop were drifting through a fog machine.

Greenspan released a self-titled EP in 2009 and followed it with the album "Without" in 2010. The music from this period, including tracks like "Mumbai" and "Nosummr4u," built a specific mood, dense, atmospheric, and deliberately murky. It wasn't trying to be club music, exactly, but it had a physical pulse beneath all the digital haze.

Later albums like "Guest House" (2014) and "Nude" (2016) continued working with similar materials, synthetic pads, fragmented vocals, rhythms that stutter and glide. The approach stayed experimental, but the production sometimes felt more focused, a bit less shrouded in reverb. Greenspan has also done production work for other artists, including Run the Jewels and Vince Staples, which suggests a sensibility that can operate outside of his own project's particular fog.
