Open Drive formed in 2008 in Santos, Brazil, with Felipe Ventura on vocals and guitar, Rafael Martini on drums, and Digão Fernandes on bass. Their debut album came out in 2010, and it included 'Garotas Superficiais,' which became their most recognizable song.
That track, along with others like 'Abóbora' and 'Cachimbo,' helped define their early sound. In 2012, Ventura left the band, and Lucas Marcier took over as vocalist. The group kept making music after that change.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
