Optus 4 was a Brazilian pop quartet that formed in 1996. The group included Mauro Fernandes, Marcelo Martins, Leandro Léo, and Fábio Souza. They released their debut album in 1998, which contained the song 'Meu jeito de ser.' That track became their biggest hit.
Their music drew from pop, rock, and funk. Another song people remember is 'Seu Amor.' The band was known for putting on energetic live shows.
Fábio Souza left the group in 2003. After that, Optus 4's activity slowed down. They had put out a couple more albums earlier, like 'Depois do Amor' in 2000 and a live album in 2002.
